Well 1badmirage a member on both sites posted a link to this site on FBC...you can guess how that went over lol. I am VERY surprised from the reaction from some of the members though.

As we've said before..hpbc has never had any issues with the membership of FBC...since we were the members lol...so I'm not sure why some those guys have an issue with us...

well Ken... as you know we or at least 6 of us are Castaways..... and just like Pintrest, getting banned off of Fastboatscanada.com had become socially acceptable or "cool" if you will... but just like Tony Montana things quickly changed.... lol

To roughly fill in the blanks,
a fellow boater mentioned our site ( HPBC ) on Fastboatscanada.com where it quickly was deleted then a new post was up about how Immature all "6" of us are for trash talking FBC every chance we get.. and apparently friends ships have been broken over it...

but i must say that i still like every member over there as i do see most of them through out the summer.. and that goes for most of the people here that are no longer allowed on the muzzled floors of fastboatscanada.com.

I can totally see why Rico (FBC kingpin) does not like me nor the banned because we could not be contained when we started loosing our friends because of the banning's over just EGO. as wacky as our departure was from FBC the beef was only between the Elite castaways and Rico.... No one else. to think that there is hate from some of the members on FBC shows that the ONLY people that know what truly happened are the Banned and the banner.

everything else is just unnecessary drama.

Well that is too bad how things are going between the two sites in question... I had made a post last year, where I mentioned James Cole and HPBC and it was edited too just James and no Cole or HPBC... No big deal ... Then I received a pm from Rico saying sorry for the edit and hoped that I wasn't pissed... and I wasn't. Thought that was nice of him actually... Any way didn't this stuff start with members mentioning non supporting venders ... Sometimes that is done purely by mistake, just some one trying to help someone else. Bottom line for me is that we are all boat nuts that love the sport, that is our connection and sometimes shit happens ... And shit goes down hill and soon will be forgotten and gone... We move on and every one lives happier ever after...

I started moving boats around at the marina today....so...it's coming...the Internet drama will slow down once everyone can go boating....

I was surprised at the animosity too by some posters over there as well and this supposed rivalry. The community is waaay too small for this crap. The high performance boat world is essentially a counter culture to a sub culture. Everyone that I have met through boats has been cool to me. Clearly there is a lot of tension right below the surface still, even after a year has gone by....

I think 1 Bad was just trying to rekindle some old friendships with a starter shot,but had a live round loaded!Hibernation is over!

I really don't want to stir things up and I am not trying to upset anyone. The whole situation is sad...
