As it sits now I'm thinking of putting a twin 60 on my boat.....I love driving my critchfield way too much to quit! I'll sacrifice that one......for now lol!

SOLUTION......RUN BOTH T750 and T850 with the same boat and switch motors.
Kevi was going to do that at the TORC races. TORC switches the schedule on Sunday so racers running multiple classes only need to change motors once a day. Kevi thought he could do the switch in less than half an hour.
Matt could do the same with his yamahas.

This is your original Critchfield......it ran an SST45 motor

How do you make them changeable?
I got an e-mail asking how to do it.
I did check into it using an OMC thru transom SST60 set up.
You need to use a triple steering bracket on both motors.
You will need to make a spacer for the T750 bracket because the twin steering arm is a little longer.
You need a trim ram bracket in each motor's steering bracket
Both motors need steering arms, and battery cables.
Each motor is bolted to an aluminum plate. All necessary set up spacers etc. are in place on that plate for that motor.
There are only 4 bolts that bolt to the setback on the boat.
Once bolted to the set back that motor's position is in its perfect set up position.
Disconnect the battery cables
Clamp the steering cable both sides at the front pulleys.
Remove the bolts from the steering arms.
Disconnect the fuel line, electric harness and control cables in the motor.
Pull the pin on the ram bracket and disconnect the ram.
Place an 8 x 8 block of wood under the skeg
Tilt the trailer so motor rests on the block.
Remove the 4 bolts from the setback.
Remove the motor.
Reverse the order to mount the other engine.

Yup! I think I can do this easy! So the new plan is putting a twin 60 on my boat....after the T750 heats I throw my T850 motor on.....no problem!
