Sorry for the rough starts Saturday Matt. I think changing positions in the boat so I could see the track better on Sunday made a difference.

Not sure what you are referring to.. Everything seemed great to me! Were you in the start boat?

BTW, the results above that Don posted are not correct. I think he copied them over from the OPBRA FB feed where they are also not correct.
Jeremy got 2nd for the weekend. Jessie got 1st. I was 3rd.

You and Tom did an awesome job getting the boys started, we appreciate the long days you two put in out on the water in the rescue boat. Thanks so much.

I was flagging for you guys from the pace boat (rescue 1). The first 2 750 starts I had my back to the course and didn't know how far up the back stretch we were, so I ended up dropping the flag a little prematurely. Eric pointed it out so I changed positions so I could see the track and the boats lining up better. Glad it wasn't very noticeable lol...

Thanks for the kind words, since my boat wasn't ready I was happy to help out. The sunburn from Saturday is still tender though!

That's awesome!!! I love the play by play with that perspective.

As always, the T-boat guys put on one hell of a show for our spectators!!
New racers this year now have a full perspective on what it takes to do this.
