well I did promise pictures and although not great quality here is a small video ive put together.
the weather was real horrible, cold rain and such low cloud made it very hard to take any decent pics.

its only short vid im afraid but I will try and grab some from a friend who was with me and post those as well soon.

I am just sorry its a bit small.
the weather was terrible, fog and rain then more fog.
All was looking real crap then the fog lifted the rain stopped and they went to lunch !!!!!
and guess what, just as they came out the rain started and fog came down Grrrrr
it was like I was doomed to get pics.
I got as close as possible and they started running on the other side of lake, so of me and my friend go drive around the other side get ready for a nice few runs and they ran on the opposite side to us again.

I was surprised to see some boats going what I think was SLOW, seriously they did not look fast.
there was 2 formula 4s boast that broke records of over 70mph, they were running the merc 60hp formular race 4 strokes.
same every as a normal 4 stroke just streamlined gearbox and 15 inch midsection, so basically a shortshaft with race foot.
and there was a couple of other boats that they said broke records, but I think its a bit suspect to be honest.
1 little 10ft v boat with a 15hp was going 42 mph yes 42 and I could not believe it was just a 15hp, but its true, that boat
did look like it was flying for such a small boat.
I saw a thundercat going pretty quick as well , if they had trimmed a bit better they could of got more speed.

I will see if anyone else I know got any pics and post them too.
