Hello everyone,

Just an update from my gopro video taken this afternoon:

Image

This propeller cavitates a fair amount off the hop but is controllable pretty quickly. Depending on your definition of the pitch, 28/1.86/6200/80 = 9; some people say it's a steep prop, so 30/1.86/6200/80 = 16. I think I am still slipping a lot, the midrange acceleration is pretty nice. For RPM I need to be more like 55-5600 and I'm closer to 6200. Just under 80 mph with a 15.125 x 28p 3 blade. I can still ski with this one though. The 30p bravo I bought second hand cracked so that's a gongshow. Also it looks like it's trimmed to the moon, but it's not really.

How is your water pressure / temp after changing the impeller?

Great, as far as water pressure it was something like:
Idle: <2
Cruise: 10
WOT: 14 max

We never got anything about 14lbs. Now it's
Idle: 4-5
Cruise: 15
WOT: 20-25

Temperature was always around 175^ at idle and still is, but it was close to 170 at cruise. Now anytime on plane it's around 130-140

sounds real good.
looks proper job too.
but do you have to worry more about debri's or plastic bags with this type of pick up ?

It's funny you would mention the debris. With the front pickups only (not lower ones) and side ones plugged, I managed to hit a log front on at say 30mph. That plugged the front ones right up. I ended up having to remove the side blocks and run at a lower height for the rest of that week until I could drill out the wood jammed in the front. Anyway, no more of a concern than you would with a sportmaster or coned lower

I saw a brand new Suzuki 250 in a boat shop recently on display and that has low water pick up similar to
what you have done.

I think they would be very good in guaranteed clean water, but I think too much chance of getting a plastic bag on
the bullet for uk water.

It does look pretty cool that's for sure.
