Matt ? attended Waterford Saturday to watch, take pics.
I met Matt at Georgian Bay Landing, Honey Harbor when visiting Dave R at GB cottage Labor Day weekend.
Matt expressed his interest in T boats, has boat at GB cottage, also spoke with Jeremy at WF. Matt expressed interest in a used Alli or Delta resto project.
Actually, I'm aware a Delta owner will replace for a Critch, hoping latter will improve his weak driving skills & poor judgement.
Matt will likely be at GH to take in more racing, pics.

See spectacular WF pics:

I knowww.....but...it's a crazy time at work. Selling boats really gets in the way of racing boats. Seeing the pics of Saturday made Sunday at work REALLY hard...

My neighbor Tom and his grandson Owen went there for the Friday race school and Owen said it was the most fun he has ever had. Tom said to tell everyone involved what a great event this was for both himself and his grandson. Have to get my 20 year old son up there next year lol.

Hey Steve-o, I coached Owen( w Tom) in J hydro, get him comfortable, figure out hand throttle, planing, taking it easy, giving juice as his confidence rose,...
I was very impressed what a mature, cool, composed and thoughtful 10yo he is, asking the right questions. Weighing 70lb, no issues getting on plane, having fortitude to squeeze throttle as his confidence grew.
We has students out for 2 laps & 3 laps on their own, then 3 laps with instructor(Rob Dixon). Owen squeezed it a bit more on each lap, by 4 & 5 he opened it up, as he did on the 3 laps with Rob.
When he came in after last lap, he said he gave Rob snake eyes at the finish line. He's a monster slayer.
I told Tom he must get Owen to attend GH in 3 weeks, start scoping out a JSH/AXH/ASH rig for him.
He was an absolute pleasure to coach, he definitely has Fast Boat passion, to be encouraged. He told Tom to install dead man throttle on 25' Talon at home so he can throttle, because he can't reach hot foot:)

PS: haven't we been trying to convince you to get your son out for many years?....he'll be married w kids soon, hurry up! have him try Mark's 20SW on Cameron this summer.
