Picked this up on the weekend, some of you may have seen this boat before as it has been around the block a few times. My plans are to make it a family cottage go fast boat. this is what I am going to do to it. Remove the center cable steering and manual jackplate, both will be for sale if anyone wants it. Install the fuel tank Install a floor Install two front bucket seats Fabricate a rear bench seat Install hyd steering Install hyd. jackplate Install the engine and all related rigging Install nose cone on lower unit Fix small fiberglass damage on port sponson I hope to have it in the water some time over the next few weeks. |

Hydraulic jackplate and engine are mounted, cable steering has been removed, fuel tank is installed and the floor is 75% complete. The boat has been removed from the original trailer and it now resides on the trailer that was under my 18' Skater. Skater project is on hold and it now sits on the original Seebold trailer. |

Here is an update. It has been tough getting things done because it gets dark so dam early. - Motor is rigged - Gauges installed - Hydraulic Steering installed and bled - Fuel tank installed - Turning indicator style trim switches installed and wired. Trim and jackplate - Oil tank installed - Hot foot installed Things to do before it gets wet - Install water separating fuel filter - Tie up wiring - Install coned lower unit - Install seats It will still need additional work but those other things can be done later this fall or in the spring. I will take some pics this weekend. |
