Thats very cool Kevin!! We used to have a Starcraft Eagle. We thought it was an Allison flip! LOL, but I realized years later that it was a Laser 380 flip. We had a 225 Evinrude on it with a 26 Raker mounted low right on the transom. It would run well over 80mph on the speedo at the time. We would often outrun a guy on the lake that had a Charger SV with the same power.(Doc will tell ya the SV is almost identical to an SRV ![]() ![]() We put a Merc 220 Laser on it after that, but never had a chance to test top speed. We were always impressed with how that boat handled! Can't wait to see what you do with it! Dave. |

Have to see what I can do to squeeze some more power out of it. Anyone got a port map for a 245/260? ![]() The XRI is steel sleeve. I don't know how similar those sleeves you have would be to what I'm looking for but I imagine Top Gun must have one there I can measure up. it's a 2.4l isn't it ![]() Pretty sure it's a 1993 2.5L. |

I think they were built pretty well too given they where built in an actual factory lol. The SV does share the same hull as the SRV but they never did work as well. I've got a buddy with a new one (not a well built boat) and when we both had 225s he was 20mph slower!! The 380 is one of my all time favourites...I love the cockpit space over the SRV. |
