Procomp, I don't doubt more power is a better experience. I'd like to trade up from my XR4 to a 225 PM, not to go faster, but for the mid range.

If you want more speed you have to unlock the pad. Was in an in depth conversation with Darris last Sunday late afternoon about the pad vs speed vs power.
Haven't any of you Allison owners noticed the somewhat lack of top end aerodynamic lift ??? If you play with the pad both with respect to to port to starboard rocker and as well as overall depth and in what areas of the pad you will unlock the top end potential of any Allison.
Then you will know how good of an Allison driver you truly are or .... aren't

In fact the Triad V21 is in most part came from an Allison GT 20 that has a slight pad change and a better looking deck. Darris was hot to attack but more then 20% of the boat was changed ( due mainly because of the deck mold change ) .

On a side note ... they all make their own turns when they blow out :D

AAAANNNND........ Triads absolutely DO NOT Spin when blowing out. I have blown mine out more than once... The bow drops and it veers very slightly right. VERY SLIGHTLY. Then you trim down and hammer it again.. lol.
