David you would have been hard pressed to catch him, with present bronze 2blades he gets 54gps. but props are his big problem, a prop shop is helping him out and has put out the call to MANY sources. Nice guy but I got him when he was short on time.

54 gps is more than I would have expected. My Baja with the ski prop won't run that fast. I might have a couple of mph on him with my SS2000, and that's what I had at the dock that day.

Flat bottom boat, there won't be too many days in his area that he can run 54 without beating the snot out of the boat anyway.

54 is fast enough anyway, it's cool that matters with old wood boats.

David; I believe that's what he told me,(memory being what it is) He is also trying to get other props, not alot available for this vintage.
