Check out the Valero that popped up on Kijiji.
Looks like a great project/deal. I'd be all over this if I had more room.

Better get it fast. That is a perfect boat bottom to make a GT30 boat out of.

Wouldn't you want a deeper v with more chines for support on a gt30 boat?

Not to mention something a little smaller lol

You only use the bottom part of the hull to make a 12 foot boat out of that 18 foot boat. One good advantage in using an 18 foot boat is the width of the hull and a wider pad. You get a lot of lift. It is a total guess in building something out of something else. If it works? Good for you. At this point none of us have any experience with GT30 boats. So it will be trial and error for a while.

Congrats James. Looks like a solid shell to start with... I kind of like the flat black too :)

The best part about this is it fits in my new garage... So I can work on it right at home instead of going out to the shop. Plus I want something I can haul to the races easily
