if "my way" was the first boat to pass over that cruisers wake I'll give him the benefit of the doubt! if he watched others get launched and kept going with that wake ,I think he was trying to create havoc!

I think it's safe to say he'd be first...the boat stomps everything that was out there that day and I'd guess that he wasn't out for some wake jumping fun at 150mph+ in a 50' boat lol.

I can't believe that a wake like that would result in that boat taking such a ride. There's no question it would be good size wave but nothing like you'd see off-shore...

He hit a 4-5' wall at 180mph... not like riding the tops of some sweet swells in the great blue :)

you ever stick your hand out the car window at 160mph?na I didn't think so! My question, which I have no experience with is how much control do you have with turbine deceleration? is it done with the transmission, cause I can't see those things spooling down quickly!

I usually have both hands on the wheel at those speeds lol...

I imagine your assumption that slowing that thing down from warp speed isn't going to happen right away is correct....my boat doesn't slow down fast enough to save your life either and I'm running half his speed. I have LOTS of experience with cruiser wakes of that size and 6' is about right...I was in a Tuff 28 with a guy who actually accellerated at a set of those from like 70mph (scared the eff out of me I might add) but it just bump, bumped over them like nothing. Now, I realize this is a far cry from 180mph or whatever but I'm still surprised that a 50' boat launched like that. Just reaffirms my belief that tunnel boats are evil (especially Skaters....right Mitch)..

24 Skaters are still number one in my book! I don't think there's a 24' boat on the planet that can match there speed and run in the rough! I'm still waiting to see a challenger against a tuff in the rough stuff and see how that extra pad width affects the rough water capabilities!
on another note= I heard RBT's old challenger has been sold.hope it's local!
