(1) Howard Pipkorn was the owner of hydrostream boats and designed most of their boats Howard didn’t design the Vixen or the Voodoo. The Voodoo was designed by Canadian Jim Tucker. Jim’s first effort was based on the Delta with a stepped bottom like a hydrostream. Jim liked the way the hydrostream deck and hull came together because it was an easier build production wise and stronger compared to the common Hull into deck method. Jim then copied many of the other hydrostream features into the boat. The boat was called Canadian Edition . Jim’s boats have a rubber outside rub rail and the America Hydrostream has an aluminum rail.

No answers

(5) What is the connection with Voodoos, water ski poles and dishwasher repair?
This one is the toughest question.
I will answer it because it maybe stopping people from posting.
Jim Tucker was a Hobart Dishwasher Serviceman when he decided to start a sideline business of manufacturing ski poles for boats. To promote these poles Jim would install them in boats at the Toronto Boat Show. Jim’s business became successful and he developed contacts with the ski and performance boat builders and distributors in the region. Jim saw a need in the market for a superior smaller horsepower high performance V hull. Jim then designed the Voodoo.
