My father and the person who is responsible for getting me hooked on fast boats has passed. His first performance boat was a 1966 Donzi Sweet 16, followed by a 19' Howard, a 21 Challenger, 24 Skater, 32 Chris Craft Scorpion and three 34' Sutphens.

My father and I raced from 1988 to 2005. Starting with a 24' Skater "Wildcat" and then switching to our our 34' Sutphen, "Tsunami". Our highlight of our racing career was winning the Worlds in 1993.

Some of you may have seen the Freeze Frame Video of our stuff at Key West back in 1990.

The Hamilton Spectator wrote a great tribute article about him.

I am sorry as well Rob. I met your dad briefly last summer and enjoyed the visit and the chat. You could tell that he was full of great stories from the brief ones I heard that you know would fill a lifetime. I am sorry for your loss.
