Steve there's a guy on my lake who used to hang out with Graham's older brother. I'll see if I can get you a contact.

Lol yeah that's the one.......30 years ago! That boat did handle amazing!....back in the day when power trim was not allowed so you had to know how to come off the dock, kite to the first pin and corner hard all with one trim setting! It was truly about set up and fearless driving skill!

- dock holder lifts the back of boat at start, steering wheel on stomach
- trim set for optimal hull angle of attack (just less than 4 degrees)
- shoulder sided seat for the the corners http://oi64.tinypic.com/awor3q.jpg

That boat just looks light Steve lol.

I'd love to see the bottom of that one :).

Found these hardly viewed video of a T850 heat taken from a corner turn boat.
Shows Erik's great driving of a VooDoo
- shows an SST60 motor, Mercury 60 hp, fishing 56'r and a 49 omc all competitive in the same heat.
Craig it also shows your current red critchfield as well.

It was 30 lbs under ABPA EP minimum.
The bottom was typical blueprint (straight, sharp, covered with SLIP Plate), but we raised the pad ~1/4" to stop the hooking, back then, the skeg extension was not allowed.

Scanned that clipped ad I found - not sure what year but likely late 90's early 2000's:

The Mini Voo - Doo in the ad was my first boat, bought it 21 years ago from a guy on 118 heading into Port Carling from Glen Orchard, I still remember the house. I owned for a about 6 years, re-powered it with a 3cyl. 40 merc (very top heavy). I had a cupped stainless that pushed the boat to about 45 mph. It was a beast to handle and liked to hop a lot, I learned a lot driving that boat, also had a ton of crazy adventures exploring Six Mile. Sold it to a guy on Simcoe who to used it as a yacht tender. It came up for sale a couple years ago, I was interested in the hull but the owner did not want to split the package.
