Thanks! Still have to repaint that faring though. Likely going to do the entire centre section of the deck (cockpit part) red to match the pinstripes on the engine cowling instead of the light blue. Definitely keeping that Hustler cowl though.

I like the way you have done the area around the foot throttle. You will be able to see cracks in their early stages should that happen. Jim's boat came with the floor totally covered in that area. The boat broke right there. Jim weighed about 160 lbs back then so his boat once it got around 70 mph would prop ride on the straights and run very high in the nose. The boat always did a very hard set into and out of the corner. That put extreme pressure on that section of the boat. Once Rob and I looked at the boat after the accident we could see that the initial crack started in the hull under the floor where we couldn't see it. We repaired a crack higher up between heats, but, we never saw the other one. The one we repaired did not break.
