We here in England are hearing that there is huge fires spreading big time in Canada.
I hope everyone on the forum is ok and not affected by this, from pics we are seeing things look very out of control and hundreds of people losing their homes and belongings.

hope it all gets put out soon and can only hope you and your loved ones are all ok.

and of course no melted or burnt out boats.

It's all in Northern Alberta. I'm in Edmonton right now on business. Fort Mcmurray is a 5 hr drive north from here. Nothing too different here, a few fund raisers on the Main Street is about it. It's a. Tragedy for sure but sounds like everything is contained now.

It really is a tragedy. With so many people from around the country working up there most of us know someone up there or who has been up there. I think most of our members are in Central Ontario (3500kms away) so we're all ok...but what a disaster...unreal.

Not so fast Doc!!
West side of #11 (south bound) from Kilworthy to Gravenhurst was riddled with brush fires this afternoon. Winhara rd from Gravenhurst to bracebridge was closed as well.....same reason and apparently same situation up near Huntsville as well.

I heard that on the radio while I was waiting for henry's bus. Seems that they have it under control..

Would anyone actually miss Huntsville??
