I have a buddy who wants to buy a Voodoo for the kids. He found one in Quebec, a 1987 Canadian Edition, looks decent in the ad and so does the trailer. Looks rigged for merc but comes unpowered. The guy is asking $2500.00 for the package and of course my buddy wants me to go with him to have a peek. Having never owned a stream of any kind much less a voodoo any advice from the experts? Does the price sound fair?

Presuming I'm an expert at offering my opinion:
Until you guys see it with your own eyes, range of condition could be from rotted shit to mint gold; $2500 falls within that range.
So if truly decent per ad figure trailer worth $6-800, and if not rotted shit offer $1200-1400 for Doo.
Naturally, whether he buys or not, buddy should cover booze and PQ hookers...

Just don't get caught in QC doing anything you shouldn't do, especially since you'll have Ontario plates..... I still can't go back there, or I run the risk of having whatever car I'm driving impounded without question lol

So I guess you didn't pay your fine huh idvette? LOL. Ok it probably helps to understand French when the officer is yelling at you. Just watch your speed and remember they have cameras but they usually have signs indicating when you are entering a zone.

BTW the boat does look clean.

Yup, nice enough to justify a look see. They'd likely let it go for $2K, celebrate here: http://www.pinkparadise.ca/en/events_stripclub.htm

Nope, didn't pay the fine! Not even sure what it was for lol... I asked the cop to slow down, I could understand French, just not at his pace. After some back and forth I realized he understood English perfectly fine, he was just being an ignorant prick. Telling him that seemed to upset him even more apparently, after that it was furious hand gestures, some writing and yelling. All on a shady dead end street in the Eastern Townships at 3 in the morning. Good times.

My wife and parents are from that country also for crying out loud, funny stuff idvette.
One of the things I liked about Quebec when I was younger was the drinking age is just a suggestion not really a law.
allstock maybe you should go by yourself, you might end up buying it for yourself.
