Anyone aware of the current sequence of #'s issued in Ont?...are they all 5OE#####(5 digits)?
If one were to have reasonable sequence of #'s, less likely to be written up for infraction?
Of course I do not condone anything other than full compliance with Small Vessel Regs May 12, 2010, sec 106., brushing teeth 3x/day and clean underwear.

It's free and painless to register... why would you have to make a number up? I was shocked how easy. Not like most people can read it anyway if you are worried about someone writting the number down.

It's not often free. If you did not pay sales tax on the purchase price of your hull you will get nabed 3yrs later.

This only works with the 50E style of numbers...for which there are no tangible records for...the ON numbers are in a computerized database that is easily accessible by law enforcement.

This is good to know!

I was going through the forms to get a license until I read the part under declaration of oath ...

"A lawyer, notary, justice of the peace, commissioner of oaths, or another person legally entitled to sign such documents in Canada must sign a declaration under oath. You may have to pay a fee to obtain the signature for a declaration under oath."

Hmmm $300 for a lawyers stamp or $250 ticket :o lol I'll take a set of those Hydroid generated 50E #'s

It is around $25 to have this done. At least it was a few years ago. Go to your City Hall or local municipal office as the Town Clerk can do this.

I get that they are trying to jeep track of what licenced huls are out there, sounds like a potential money grab for the govt on the water though.
