So here it is. All finished. Brand new boat. 6 coat of fresh Gel Coat. Candy Apple red metallic with 5 coat of clear gel over top. Want to wait till the sun came out to take pictures but couldn't wait any longer. Now goes outside and shrink wrapped for the winter. LOL. The motor is a 2004 Merc 150HP XR6 that has not bee run since 2007. Gas no more then 100 total run hours on it. In storage in a heated garage for the last 6 years.
Below is the Photo bucket of all the resto pictures. Only thing left to do is make my tonneau cover and restor the trailer.
Enjoy.

Awesome!

Fantastic job....love the J's

Did you purchase the fender flares or did they come with the boat? I think Dok told me John still has the molds for them.

I bought the trailer at the auction in Barrie just because it was an original J trailer. Have to cut it down a bit. It's for a 19' J. Unless someone has a 17' J trailer they want to trade me for it. Lol. Thanks for the compliments.

Yes. Another guy got the boat and I got the trailer. The person that got the boat was pissed. Now he had to pay to get the boat off the trailer.

Yeah I could see someone being pissed if they didn't win the trailer...always found it odd that they sell the trailers separate from the boats.
