Are these a copy of another hull, or something different? The website video doesn't make them look too stable!

I believe their based on an Allison. They don't look stable because they run them in VP75 class which is a 49 OMC LONG SHAFT, BIG FOOT class where the prop shaft must be 5 inches below the bottom of the boat.

From their site:
About Vampire Boats

From the late 60's to early 70's, Vampire boats were built in Minooka, Illinois by Jack Lewis. During this time, boat racing legend Ron Baker was working with Jack to develop some of hulls to perform better under racing conditions. This led to the creation of the 15' Banshee. The molds were sold and relocated to St. Paul, MN and built by Mic Halbrehder under the name Pacecraft from the mid to late 70's.

Currently, the 15' Banshee has been re-created, modified and redesigned under the direction of Ron Baker's son Jeff Baker in Wyoming, MN. An original Vampire boat was used as a plug with several modifications to manufacture new deck and hull molds. This boat is currently being produced as either a enclosed cockpit race model (Comp) and an open cockpit version (Sport). Each boat is custom built to order based on driver size and dimension.

The Vampire boat is a highly competitive race boat that can be used in several classes of boat racing. In September, 2011, Aaron Wachholz drove the Vampire Comp (#69) to win the OPC National Championship in VP-75.

I gotta admit... I like them. But all V-bottoms are Allison copies.

that makes sense now why they look like my T boat running! I'm not as quick around the course, but I have a blast trying to be fast and keep my ass in the seat!
