Nice! Have fun. They are calling for rain here so that means I am off the hook for outside work. I just may have to find this live stream :)

Well I guess there is no race season ending with out drama. Saturdays racing was hard close running. We ended up 3rd for the day. Great finish considering the Thottle broke way from the dash and was moving all over the place. I built a new bracket saturday night One boat in our class made a run for the beach at 70mph after blowing out the bottom of the boat. 2 44 foot MTI supper cats came together in a corner and both boats had holes. There was a 3 boat collission in Super V lite after one boat spun out... The pits were littered with fiberglass and drives on saturday night.

Sunday we found out we had the pole for the final race. The boat owner failed his medical Sunday morning and was not allowed to race so I ended up running with a guy from super v lite on the sticks. Nothing like going into a world championship race on the pole and not knowing the guys in the boat with you! After 3 laps in there was a red flag as a 22 velocity rolled over in a corner. Both crew were in the water on the racing line exit of the turn. (scary) After the restart we were able to hold off the fleet and ran a great smooth race. So look like the GPS killed us .... you are allowed to go just over 70mph for a second 3 times in one race. on the fourth you take scoring penalty..... They have told us that we went over 4 times... but didn't provide us with our score sheet... so at the moment we don't know the final results....

I don't care in the end because the season was so much fun and I know how to be faster next year!

Sounds like any T850 weekend with Kevin, Gig and Fraser out there with you, blowing over, blowing up, and.... just blowing.
