lol ya thats him Pman. His first fast boat. Even if that speedo is off 10% he's hauling azzz with a boat full.
Let me see if he's GPS'd it. Looking at that video, a trip way out east would be kind of cool.
They have a group with two V21s, a Euro and a Rocket.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!!!!

You have to calculate a 28p as a 29p to allow for the cup in the prop.
6700 rpm's with 1.75 gears, 28p prop +1" for cup at 97mph slip is 8%. At 98 it is 7%. These are very realistic slip numbers for a GrandSport or any Allison.

Whoever it was cutting down an ET on a GS must of had a POS copy or one that was reworked improperly. If you ever ran a good copy or original ET, pretty much nothing else comes close to handling and performance.

For what type of props do you add a pitch size to for slip calculations? I am speculating ETs and possibly choppers as well. You have me curious and welcome aboard!

No question about it... He is flying! My speedo read 105ish when running low 90's... So you are probably right
on the 10%. Now I leave the pick up flipped up.. lol.... Unless I want to shock an uneducated passenger.
That boat was rigged nicely as well.

The ET has great slip numbers for sure. Real ones especially.

I am the only guy in the world who has had no luck so far with ET's..... I bought a brand new Merc one and I thought it was fine until I tried Hoss's and Cleavers... Others with Triads love em' and All the ally dudes seem to love em'.... I dunno.
