Great colour! Anyone hang a V4 on one yet? |

We have only run the Yamaha and Suzuki 90 so far. We look forward to running an E-tec. We always wanted to run a built-up v4. The power to weight ratio looks favorable. We did run a stock XR 4 Merc 150 on a short mid, it apparently weighs over 400lbs. Went real fast (90mph) but handled bad. |

Thank's for posting this Mark. Cool to see the process documented like this. I like the v4 idea too (especially with a Taylor mid) |

How did the Yamaha 90 compare to the Suzuki 90? Acceleration and top end. Do two strokes still rule? |

There was a kid around here with one of those on a voodoo....one of those on a short mid would be cool too (obviously not as cool as a hot proV115....). |

David, the only real difference between the four stroke 90 and the two stroke 90 was the weight. 260 lbs to 340lbs. Doc, what does the metric 115 weight? P man, I'll have one of those... what does that weigh, and how much hp is in there? More progress pics tomorrow. |

The more recent 115 V4 2 strokes were way too heavy - around 170kgs. No wonder no one raced them in the smaller offshore classes here in Europe. Unlike the Yam & Tohatsu 90, which are clearly the best choice for a hull this size. |

It is easiest to do the next part upside down. |

Glass the hull deck joint, seal the outside seam and put the graphics on... |
