I'm on the St Clair River right now for the weekend so i decided to head down and take some photos from what most say is the cause of this rapid water loss...

this first picture shows a residential year round living on the river...

This one i'm standing beside a dock that hasn't been used since 2003 ..... down the water front a bit more south i talked to a guy who had a 32' sea ray sport cruiser that gets winterized on his huge boat lift every year.. he said that he will not be able to get it off the lift this year and has ordered a crane for next saturday to lift it and set it on a trailer in his drive way..

It is wild. Home this weekend and looking out across Owen Sound Bay it is painfully obvious the low water levels. I have never seen it this low before. There is lots of snow to melt in the north still but I don't know how much it will help the levels.
