They count for anything and everything. What don't they go with? Formal, casual, and racing gear. No sailor should be without.

Not to be pulling people away from the package deal, but if you're looking for a used APBA cert. life jacket here are a couple in Michigan.
They are all the offshore jackets so they dont have the tail like the SO jackets.
Pretty good deal. :?

Spoke with seller, jacket details:
1) They have tails, req'd for kneeler/hydro, not for sitting(T & Drag). Tail pushes jacket front/rear up against helmet base, uncomfortable. I know, from using my kneeler jacket.
2) Old style front panel puffy floatation(not thin closed cell foam), awkward for 2 armed T/Drag steering, like having 2 balloons on chest.

IF you send them in for recert they replace the foam and will install flak. It's not much cheaper by the time you ship everything everywhere....but if you already own a jacket like this than its worthwhile to send it out. They come back like new.
