I imagine your assumption that slowing that thing down from warp speed isn't going to happen right away is correct....my boat doesn't slow down fast enough to save your life either and I'm running half his speed. I have LOTS of experience with cruiser wakes of that size and 6' is about right...I was in a Tuff 28 with a guy who actually accellerated at a set of those from like 70mph (scared the eff out of me I might add) but it just bump, bumped over them like nothing. Now, I realize this is a far cry from 180mph or whatever but I'm still surprised that a 50' boat launched like that. Just reaffirms my belief that tunnel boats are evil (especially Skaters....right Mitch)..
