Twins are fine for the guys that has surplus motors, just a thought as a lot of the older V4s and inlines are pretty cheap. Run twins if you got em for the wow factor. But if everybody starts running twin 70's it's gonna start eating motors from other classes. If you want to get new people the price has to stay low. The performance boat community is small enough the racing community is smaller. You want new blood to come and play but even in T class you need what a 5-8000$ boat to hopefully be competitive one day, and end up with a boat that most guys will only use 5-10 times a year.
