Mitch...is...right. As tough as it is to hear sometimes ('cause that boat is pretty) it's sooooo true. Many of us try to pussy foot around to not hurt feelings...but luckily for you Uncle Mitchie got a hold of you BEFORE you bought something. Calling a spade a spade in this case may save you $1000's upon $1000's . Keep the search up...feel free to ask our opinions...many of us have built and rebuilt boats....it sucks the life out of boating lol

I didn't realize you haven't bought this boat yet..... DON'T BUY IT !!!! Lol unless there's proof of a rebuild or you buy it for 3500 with the motor. That way you have a chance to rebuild or part out.

You need to have proof of a rebuild .. And if they don't know what a core is... RUN THE OTHER WAY !!

For 15K and a little driving time, I have an Allison Grandsport with a fresh 225 promax in Winnipeg. Has a couple cosmetic issues but the rigging is great. The allison has no wood, its all composite. Better for watersports and handling boat wakes and chop. Haven't advertised it much yet as I have to take the motor off a Euro and put it back on the Allison and it just keeps snowing, LOL Just a thought.

I could probably be persuaded to part with my Viking if someone came and dumped a stack of crisp ones on me! I'm still in lust with it but I've got more boats!
