does anyone know if a 6 ton press is enough to push out and re-fit the bushes in outboard props ?
I ask as I can get hold of a press near me but its only a 6 ton press.

I want to get out the bushing on a ballistic and change it to omc 13 spline.

My aim is to take out the hub of a OMC prop and fit that in the ballistic, the hub is almost new but prop got badly
damaged and is beyond economical repair, and being alloy is not worth doing anyway.

so if the 6 ton press is man enough, I would like to give it a go.

any do,s and dont,s ? ... not worried about balancing as that is the easy bit.

Thanks beaver tone 21.
