What is meant when you guys talk of a 100 block 60hp 2 cyl. And how do you tell them apart.

The block number is found on top of the block near the head if I remember correctly. A 100 block will have the number 326100. Some blocks have small numbers and others are larger numbers. The Large 100 block is supposed to be faster? Little Charger? Is is it faster?? :?:

The numbers on the block refer to the castings used to produce the block. The later blocks are foam cast and many feel the newer blocks do not have as good air flow and water flow as the older 100 series. For normal use there would be no difference. In racing there is a split decision as to which is better. There are more 100 series racing and there are some newer blocks doing well. The block is only one part of the complete motor. The other parts are just as important and it is the complete package the makes for a strong motor.
