Anyone know for sure the difference in the ox66 CDIs between the 200, 225 and 250?

I'm assuming the O2 manages the fuel.

Well not for "sure", but my educated guess would obviously be fuel and timing maps. OX66 fuel injection is very similar to automotive style fuel injection, same sensors performing the same job. Oxygen sensor on ox66 is more of a fine tuning tool than anything else, does its job even with removing the airbox, or the whole hood for that matter. Otherwise you've got ambient air temp, engine temp, tps, barometric psi, crankshaft position, knock sensor. The 250 is ported different and has more compression than the 225, not sure about 200. I have read that the only difference between the 200 and 225 is ecm map and a touch more compression. The 250 I would expect to have different fuel mapping for sure due to porting differences. I can tell you I'm not brave enough to try a 200/225 ecm on a 250. I'm sure Hydro-Tec would have a pretty good idea.

Talked to Hydrotec a couple times on this and if you talk to Wayne you get one answer , talk to Matt you get a different answer.

I guess Im going to have to find a 65L CDI, motor came with a 66X (200 CDI) which was defective, put a 66K on it along with other parts and it seems to be running good now but the plugs look lean.

Any GOOD 65Ls out there ? Would love a 69L but cant find one.

65l is 250 Saltwater? 69l parts can be difficult, not too many around, only made a couple years etc. etc. That 225 must looked raped by now lol.
