I’ve been procrastinating about this for awhile now…drilling holes in my new HPDI gearcase has got me nervous. This case came with my Hydrotec motor and has the stock water pickups…which are lower than the average case but not low enough for what I may potentially need. Hydrotec charges $550 plus shipping…so….I thought I might give it a go myself.

Untouched:

Only 3 more to go lol...eeeesh...

grind the trailing edges 50% of the way you did the leading edge, it will keep the water from boiling.

It this type of work that gives me the push to get my machine shop up and running.
This would have been easy on my mill.
