Before I bring it to the Yamaha Mechanic... tryed to start the VMAX will not start up but \im getting dark gray to black smoke coming out

did you check for a mouse house in the airbox.

Does it try to start? or just cranks and nothing? Any beeping?

Sounds like more fuel issues...

take it to a yamaha dealer and tell them to change the filters on the motor and install a onboard yamaha water/fuel filter. while its getting fixed clean the gas tank out. install new fuel lines and primer ball.

if you have done every single one of the things listed above. sell your boat and motor and but a fishing boat with a mercury..
