Ran great yesterday today took it out hammered it and it started surging in and out couldnt get on plane we are at the cottage so access to interenet is rare

Check your VST for crap....you may need a filter change.

Yup!! You are right DIRT DIRT ....Ordered new filter and the rubber gasket for the vst bottom unit
One question...when I removed the 5 bolts and pulled back the VST unit a quarter size o ring fell out have no idea where it should be

I'm not sure of anything that size...there's a big one on top of the pump and the perimeter one...

Shit...I read this wrong...it's part of the rubber mount. It nests into the larger rubber piece that the bolts go through...
