What are people out there using for a battery switch to disconnect your boat battery when not in use? I don't feel like unthreading the wing nuts every time to deal with this so I want something slick. I found a nice automotive based one but it was just that - automotive based and meant that I needed an adapter for the wing nut connections of the cables.

Mine is cool...looks like a garage door handle (no...it's not anodized blue...). I have no idea where it came from though....so mostly I'm just bragging about the fact I have a battery switch..:)

I have seen these and was thinking about it as fall back if I cannot find anything else as I only run one battery. I would feel like such a fisherman with the 2nd battery option and I was explicitly asked and I quote when I purchased my boat from the previous owner...

"Wait a minute....you're not going to use this for fishing are you?" LOL!

Where do you live? its in my shop, I'll sell it cheap. $15 ok? I can have it in either Beaverton or Mississauga, or I can get Mark taylor to bring it to one of the T-boat/ Hydro race days.

Steve

Go for it guys. I am in the Guelph area and am not scheduled work wise to be down Mississauga in the immediate future or Beaverton for that matter. Thank you though, good price!
