How much depth do you need in a small 75+ mph Tunnel hull?

Is deeper the better.....how come the Asian Tunnel hulls aren’t deep...they run a lot of transom set back and a shallow tunnel....they are copy cats....wonder where they got the idea?
Well likely from Bill Seebold....check this 100 mph Mod50 tunnel out.....the tunnel depth is shallow..maybe the fact the boat could run close to 100 mph and didn’t need to trap a lot of air..

Now think T750 66 mph. How could we get a critchfield to break that record. What would happen if we modified the bottom and put 4 inch deep tunnel channels on each side of the pad running full length down the middle of the hull.?
