Thanks for the exploded view. I had to space the throttle arm out about an inch and i used the longer 225 linkage to the throttle cam. Used the 225 throttle cam but had to file it down so the butterflys would fully close. Lost some travel but it works well. Didn't gain much from the change.

That picture helps. Dubber is there a spacer between the throttle lever and the block on your 200? Im guessing no.

I've collected a bunch of ignition parts off a 1989 150 proV and i want to put them on my 225. It seems the mount location for the plastic cam that controls the carbs is in a different spot between the two. Does anyone have a picture of the throttle linkage on a 225 thats been changed over or is the...

So the weight savings on a comp model is with the lighter deck and eliminating the floor. I wonder why they didn't just put a core in them if there is no difference in weight?

Comparing the comp models to regular production, I can see they run more stingers and no core, no floor and probably a lighter deck. If a guy wanted to take an old rotten Vking or something similar and try to modify it for drag racing could you pull the core material all out and replace with stringe...
