Thanks everyone.
There is no decompression on the motor.
I always use shell premium in all my small engines.
I have some 100ll
I have a lot of friends that race dirt track, so may see about picking up a drum of fuel. Just not sure what blend.

Looking for input on fuel to run in the 30 hp (31.8cu in) motor that I have been piecing together. It’s been slow going. Parts are not as interchangeable as I thought. I had the block oversized 0.030” No other mods to the block. I have played with some heads. A stock head on a standard bore block, y...

Interesting. I like the open hull type. I like the open propeller. I like the weight limit. I like the hp. I don’t like the power trim restriction. Someone can have it, but another person with the same engine with a different ID plate, can’t? I will have to start working on a new design. 12’ long. V...

Thanks for the comments. It is still in the early stages of development. I have to work on a way to bleed the engine trim lines. Also add a speed control in the engine trim, since it is quite fast. I may have to put heavier springs in the solenoids too.

Another nice mod 30 OMC http://www.boatracingfacts.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=64757&stc=1&d=1517754423 I saw that. A three cylinder. I wonder what the lifespan of those gears is. It would probably be easier to make an adapter for the gear f...

Don’t grind it out.
Drill a small hole in each end of the void and inject it with resin. Don’t worry about anything less than 1/2” long.

I make plastic cones for thickened epoxy to put a bead into the corners, then lay the fabric over and smooth it out.
