The one with the Yamaha on it has a Gordon Bay Marine sticker on the back. I know there was one running around out by us when I was a kid...85-86 maybe. I distinctly remember it jumping our boat wake.

the short 50 case doesn't bolt right on, does it? has anyone actually bolted one on and double checked lengths, spline mesh, everything, and ran it!? would be cool to get other gear ratios available for the 40/50.. but last I checked the 30hp ratio was also 1.85:1? I've got a stock short 30 on Paul Coulter's old delta...the short 50 case doesn't bolt right on, does it? That would definitely make life easier with prop selection.

The boat is a rocket even with the aluminum prop but I have to think of the future.
