Which years had the big carbs? Did they also change the reed blocks or decrease the stop distance for the reeds when they went to the small carbs?

Oven works good also, better half may not like it so much. Thick leather welding gloves make the job easy. If they freeze before you get them into position just reheat. The interference on sleeves is about .002".
