They are more or less the same bottom, with different tops.

My DL had an SK Bottom. Never heard of an SK with a windshield.

They are both great all round boats. Early 80's where built very strong.

Oh ya - the bowlift. I can really say on that. I've always got too much bowlift, so they all work in that area for me. You might want to try a Solas Scorpion, if your looking for bow lift. Im not sure about the different Trophy models, or which one I used, but I had use of a 26 pitch for a while and really liked it. I'm told that Trophys are actually a little higher pitch that what they are called. IE - the 26 I tried was more like a 28. It had good all round behaviour. Nothing weird ...

Adding a pad has been done, with mixed results, and usually a lot of work.
