Thanks to Tim and Paul Hickey I have a new 56 build completed over the winter. Here’s the story. I managed to do some 56 sleeve swaps to what we think is the most efficient block and the most efficient sleeve. With the new 4 stroke motors coming to stock outboard we are starting to see the first wood sit in seat runabouts. O’Connor Racing hydroplane have one available. It is sold by Richmond Aero Marine. It's great that there are now new engines available that anybody can buy and race. Hard to find parts definitely keep people from entering. Hopefully we will see something similar with T-boats in the future. The Mercury four stroke was run in T750 for a number of years as it’s an eligible motor. Wh... |

Genuine Yamaha head gaskets are the only ones worth running. TSR use o rings which is a good concept but they're hopeless in practise, less than 10 hours on mine and water was getting into the head. TSR head is no good in my opinion. Have run the one piece, two piece, TSR head eventually got fed up... |

Rob sold his boat to son Josh who actually raced it Saturday and won the Saturday race, great driving by Josh! Josh didn't race the Sunday but is hooked and pumped for next year.
