Quicksilver 10 3/8 x 18p Chopper. 10 spline prop to fit 20-35hp although can be rehubbed to 13 spline to fit 40-70hp engines. Stripped my Yamaha down again, the paint was really starting to fall apart. Going for powdercoat this time, in gloss black with some bits in red. Hopefully another carbon cowl in the works then maybe some custom graphics. At powdercoating he found a crack in the swivel tube, just as well I got it do... |

247 lbs? 112kg. Not what I would call lightweight, I don't think they're even trying. Tohatsu 20hp 4 stroke is 43kg, could almost have 3 of them and be the same weight as the merc 60. That's 3 gearboxes, legs, transom brackets etc. I'm sure if Mercury really wanted they could make a 60hp 4 stroke su... |

The TSR head I ran on my tohatsu 50 kept leaking with the O rings, although I've had issues with bad head gaskets that were aftermarket never had issues with genuine Yamaha ones |

Would love to try a Yam 90 short on my thundercat. Always keep an eye out for cheap bits to put one together but they don't come up often. In reality the 70ces I have now is more than enough power 99.9% of the time. Anything other than going for a speed record I don't even use full throttle |

Yep smallest cc top chamber then increasing towards the bottom. Have to say I'm not 100% on the port specs as Rolf did the porting work over in Norway.
