:) As Houndog said, you will require a 17-18" pitch small diameter prop to make the 1.86 work. Also, you will have to replace the vertical drive shaft, since the 1.86 had a 4 tooth spline and the 2.42:1 does not. That will require re shimming the vertical shaft. The end result will be a slight ... |

Not sure what boat this will go on, but going to the 1.86 gears will require way too low a pitch propeller. That will limit prop selection drasticly. This wopuld be a mistake. |

I Guess Reggie Fountain didn't invent the step hull after all? We used steps in the 70's and 80's on our tunnel boat sponsons. |

:?: Not on the 56 cid head. There are no water channels. I think you are referring to the 49.7 cid heads with water channels. You can cut the head until the thickness of the water passage at the thermostat area is 0.100" thick. Less than that, and heads will warp. That will raise compression wi... |

How are the participants in T-750 looking for 2016. Do we have a head count yet? I know 2015 was not too good with 3-4 boats. |

Bummer! You must have the earlier version. The one we just received is 120Hp at the prop shaft and is 740cc's. It will bolt directly onto the OMC 45 cid adapter plate. We will only bolt it up if our Tohatsu 65D from Europe does not " git it dun". |
